For 30 years, Laura has enhanced the industry through her fresh and pioneering spirit and ideas that are firmly rooted in culture, not advertising. Combining deep technical skill, with her innate human understanding and passion for storytelling, Laura is recognised and awarded globally as an creative innovator and industry leader, and was described by The Guardian as "a digital female icon". She is founder and chief creative officer of creative studio Uncharted, who combine new technologies and AI with diverse talent to lead brands into culture with confidence. She is a past president of D&AD, and has an honorary doctorate from UAL for her services to women in graphic design.  Laura is also the founder of SheSays (the largest global network for advancing the careers of women and non-binary people in the creative industries) and CANNT festival (for people that can't go to Cannes). In her spare time she's an AI artist currently developing a perimenopausal Australian folk-horror film, The Bush.
