Dave Price
CHIEF CREATIVE OFFICER , MCCANN MANCHESTER & MCCANN UNITED
I joined the agency as a young creative over 30 years ago to ‘do a bit of TV’. I can hardly remember that far back! But along the way, I've worked on the likes of Durex, Marie Stopes, Teacher Training Association and Aldi. Together with my creative partner, Neil Lancaster, we've been lucky enough to pick up at almost every major creative award show. In 2010 we wrote Britain’s Ad of the Decade for Aldi, featuring a granny called Jean who liked a gin more than a cup of tea. The Like Brands Only Cheaper campaign is still running today and helped catapult Aldi into the top 3 supermarkets. As well as leading a great team here in Manchester, we've had a bit of fun with 9 years of Kevin the Carrot and won one or two effectiveness awards along the way. Recently we got into a bit of Chocolate Caterpillar wars with M&S, and we continue to create a bit of mischief for Aldi in pretty much any channel we can.
