Ana started her career at Mother in 2007 as an intern. Over the last 13 years, she has risen rapidly through the agency’s creative ranks and in 2015, alongside her partner (in both work and life) Hermeti Balarin, she was appointed as Mother's first ever Executive Creative Director. During their time at Mother, they have created culturally impactful work for pretty much all the agency’s clients including KFC, Coca-Cola, Stella Artois, IKEA and Greenpeace. They have also exhibited at London’s prestigious Design Museum and have won a Documentary Short Tribeca Film award. The couple also work to ensure Mother uses its creative powers for good, leading projects like #FreeTheFeed, an initiative to break down taboos around breastfeeding in public. The duo are the current presidents of the Creative Circle, of which they are also lifetime trustees.
